Hi All :-) I'm a new member
« on: September 14, 2011, 01:22:54 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'd like to introduce myself as I am a new member. My name is Natalie and I'm a 21 year old young woman from Manchester, UK. I found puppy love
campaigns after trying to find a campaign to support in the UK regarding the harsh reality of puppy farming. After watching a a Ceaser Milan episode
about puppy mills in the states and how horrendous they are, I started looking into it more in the UK. It's such a shock to see that western people who have
been loyal companions to dogs for such a long time could be so lacking in remorse when it comes to hurting these beautiful creatures. I have a love of
animals naturally, especially dogs. I feel that they are wonderful creatures and I heard a beautiful saying once that best describes how I feel about them..

''If your homeless and sleeping on the street, a man won't lie with you but a dog would''

Puppy love campaign seems like such an amazing cause and I would love to get involved any way that I can. I am strongly passionate about fighting for this
cause and would love to get involved some how. If anyone is interested in joining me in organizing and partaking in fundraising events or protests etc, I would like
to hear from you.

Unfortunately, a lot of people find it easier to turn their backs on what really goes on in these puppy farms and chose not to believe that they could have participated
in the horrible on-going torture that the breeding dogs face daily. I hope that in being a part of the puppy love campaign that I am able to meet with like minded people
who feel as strongly about this cause as much as I do.

Thank you for welcoming me into this cause,

Yours gratefully,

Nat x

Hope to see you there if you can make it.

Do you have any animals yourself?  :pupfarm:

Hi Nat and welcome to our group, its good to have you here. As rosie said we protest once a month at Manchester and Leeds and your support at either store would be appreciated.

We are desperate for someone to fund raise as our cost in petrol for investigations is always a drain.

Thanks for joining us Nat :thanks:  As rosie says puppy farm awareness day is on the 18th September and as you live in the Manchester area it would be great if you could attend the protest there :gimme5:  I can send you some leaflets if you want, but you mght not reeive them in time for this month's protest.  Anyway, let me know if you would like leafets to distribute.  :thanks:

Good to have you on board, we all detest these hell holes for dogs, and having a poor dog who has lived in one for 7 yrs and the damage they did to her makes my blood boil. Hope you can make it an sunday  :hello:

Hi Nat and welcome.  Do you have dogs yourself?
Love and light to all.
Dogs, like us, have feelings and deserve the best we can give them.

Hi and welcome.
I was a woman scorned having lost a 22 month old Great  Dane thanks to "irresponisble breeding" and heard about Puppy Love on radio 5.
My rescued pack of 4 include Holl the Doll ( an absolute psyopath, premataurely arthritic and metacm dependant deaf and partially sighted Dane) Mr Bo, my special boy, ( a bit deaf, a bit blind with recently diagnoosed skin cancer)  Great Dane and my verrry clevva Walter, a Working Spaniel plus Miaise his not so clevvva other half.
None of my lot are Crufts material.
Such is life ha ha!
